OLYMPIA SMART TRACK
RUNNING AND FOOTWEAR INVESTIGATIONS

The investigation of running biomechanics requires synchronized kinetic and kinematic measurements. The Olympia sensorized track [1] supports research in footwear biomechanics, orthotics, and lower limb prosthetics for gait and running.

A VERSATILE INSTRUMENTED TRACK FOR SCIENTIFIC INVESTIGATIONS
The new sensorized Olympia Smart Track, placed at the Palaindoor of Padova, supports the research towards innovative technological solutions to improve safety, performance, and ergonomic characteristics of a wide range of equipment for sport and daily life activities. Application regards running prosthetics [2], running footwear [3], running orthotics [4], foot/ankle prosthetics [5].
